Our penultimate event of the year sees us head back to one of our favourite venues Grow in Hackney Wick! We’ve had three really great events already this year and our crowd always really enjoy it as the club is one of the best small spaces to get down in London into the small hours!
Matt & Jamesey have probably had their busiest year since the pandemic, culminating with their feature in the summer edition of Faith Magazine and this month celebrating their 200th label release. If you haven’t been to one of their events think, smiling people, quality soulful music with dancers getting down.. Everyone is welcome in our house! The boys will be joined on the night by Abel aka Steve Butler who will be making the trip down from the north east. From catching the house bug in the late 80s as a devout collector, his DJ career went from strength to strength. It saw him perform across some of the UK’s most prestigious nights including the Southport Weekender, not to mention internationally.
He’s recently dropped his second studio album “Cosmic Law’ which is getting a lot of praise from all corners, where he’s collaborated with some notable talents and musician and singers including Rona Ray and Sabrina Chyld. His current single “Cant Let You Go” with Rona Ray on vocals has been getting serious air play on all the main dance shows and we look forward to welcoming him to Makin Moves on the 2nd!
