Two of London’s most respected underground promoters, Makin’ Moves and 4 to the Floor come together for a series of summer Sunday day parties at Colours in Hoxton, kicking off on Sunday 27th June. Both promotions bring unique ingredients to a party and having worked together before, saw this moment to come together to bring London something fresh after the scene has laid dormant for the last 15 months due to the Covid 19 pandemic.

Expect a special colourful event full of happy creative people ready to once again embrace, talk and most of all “Jus Dance” like they did before. With over ten years experience in the game Makin Moves and 4 to the floor residents will be spinning records across the dance floor spectrum from deep soulful house to afro beats, while also inviting some close friends to the party.

Makin Moves residents are Matt L-S and Jamesey, who have promoted many a successful party and run a label boasting 150 releases over the last 9 years working with artists such as Peven Everett, Omar, Josh Milan to but a few. They grace the airwaves weekly on hse.fm and have keep their fans engaged with special live Instagram sessions during the pandemic.

4 to the floor are a collective of DJs, producers, musicians and dancers that have taken an inclusive approach to dance music, joining the dots between house music, disco, tech, jazz, bruk and boogie. Bringing the “dance” back into dance music for 10 years over various clubs around East London, 4TTF have hosted such artists as Osunlade, Boddhi Satva and Atjazz while holding down a Soho Radio show every other Wednesday.

For the launch event we welcome Frankie j from IndaHouse UK and UK soulful house don Johnny Reckless as our guests!
