MAKIN067 – Dave Anthony featuring Beverlei Brown ‘Never Give You Up’

Following his red hot remix of New Day for us last month, David Anthony returns for his first single on the label Never Give You Up featuring the unmistakable sounds of Beverlei Brown. You might remember Beverlei from her hot track ‘I Don’t Know Why’ which came out recently on Quantize Recordings which had a smashing mix from Manoo to boot!

Never Give You Up, is a passional written deep track with a wicked hypnotic groove throughout that will instantly grab you and have you tapping your foot! Think big room Ministry of Sound, 4am and your feeling a bit lethargic and then this comes on and carries you, BOOM your back!!

Both Matt and Jamesey have been playing it on the makin moves radio show and after a few bars of the track the phone instantly rings for the rewind it’s that good!

This release is available exclusively from Traxsource from Friday 26th May.

MAKIN066 – Wipe the Needle featuring Lifford ‘Kissing You’

As you can probably gather we like working with Wipe the Needle, and for this latest outing he’s back with his good pal Lifford Shillingford re-creating an old 80s track, Kissing You originally written by Keith Washington from the album Make Time for Love.

Kissing You is a big favourite of Liffords and he felt it could be brought to life again in a soulful house production. The song fits Liffords voice so well and as per usual the production from Wipe The Needle is first class while not taking too much away from the original song.

This release will be available exclusively via Traxsource.com from Monday 24th April, and then all other sites on 22nd May 2017.
