Viola Sykes ‘My Luv’

Our next release was born in New Jersey, USA. We’ve been wanting to work with the multi talented Viola Sykes since her hit ‘My Baby He Loves Me’ which was released on Blaze Imprints in 2003.

We are proud to present a fantastically written song titled ‘My Luv’ which was penned by both Viola and the legend that is Stephanie Mills, mixed and masted by our good friend Sheldon Goode. The track has been a big one for us at our Makin Moves events and was recently hot track of the week on the Roots NYC show on WBLS in NYC.

The release comes in two parts, part two will be released in a few weeks time with mixes from DJ Beloved.

Makin’ Moves return to the upstairs part of Catch bar in Shoreditch on Saturday 31st October for our annual FREE special Halloween party!

Last years event was a real success with DJ Uchikawa playing and this years event promisies to be even better as we turn the venue into a Witches Grotto with extra atrractions on the night!

This year residents Matt and Jamesey will be joined by Martin Lodge and Ronnie Herel from Mi Soul! Expect spooky soul and soulful house and devlish deep house!

Makin’ Moves presents the hot Lilac Jeans remixes of Tiger Wilson’s club hit ‘There Is Hope’. There Is Hope featured on Tiger’s ‘I Can Luv You Betta’ EP which we released last summer, a song filled with positivity.

The remixes are in true Lilac Jeans style,using nice synths and deep beats working Tiger’s soulful vocal to perfection taking the groove to the heart of the dance floor.

This Saturday you can catch Matt L-S and Jamesey warming things up at the world famous Jazz Cafe in Camden. They will be dj’ing before the amazing Kim Mazelle takes to the stage along with her band.

The 1st Lady of House Music, Kym pioneered the music genre to Europe from the United States, in the late 80’s /90’s. Collaborations with Frankie Knuckles, Chaka Khan, Mick Jagger, Soul II Soul and Jocelyn Brown saw Kym hit the UK top 40 six times, and this October see’s her return to The Jazz Cafe for a headline show that is guaranteed to be full of hits.

For the next party, with have invited the ever popular – Makin’ Moves and the wonderful guys behind it, Matt L-S and Jamesey, to host the Loft Bar with their unique Party vibe. Joining in the fun and laying down some serious beats, will be their guest DJs Sol Brown and Josh Grooves.

In the Lounge Bar, Mi Casa welcomes Andy Newman for his first time at inTeRLaCeD, who will be warming up the party in right way, with a 3hr set from his remarkable selection of House Music. We are also please to invite back, the talented Tim Lovelace to keep the party going, the way he know best. Up next, we have one of House FMs finest and Mi Casa’s Brother, Mr Nick Fernandez, can’t wait to hear what he has in store for us. To end the night, we go in Deep with Tunes from our long time friend and great DJ – Jay Russell. .
