Dezaray Dawn

Dezaray Dawn is an artist possessing a voice which resonates with the depth of both emotion and experience. This German-born, Southern-raised Army brat is a self-described gypsy, having lived in 2 countries, 4 states, and 6 US cities by the time she was 16. She attended 16 schools in 12 years, and Dezaray states: “When nothing else was solid in my life, there was always music.

After four years of singing in the high school chorus, Dezaray attended Middle Tennessee State University for their Recording Industry Program and later attended Nashville State Community College receiving a certification in Music Technology.

In 2009 , Dezaray wrote and co-produced her EP  entitled “Chameleon”, which was very much influenced by her love for soul and electronic music. She has performed in and around the Greater Atlanta area, opening for independent acts such as Anthony David and soulful house group Tortured Soul. She has also collaborated internationally with producers such as Marc Mac of UK duo 4Hero, and has music featured in the Ava Duvernay directed short film, entitles “The Door”, starring Gabrielle Union, for Prada’s fashion brand Miu Miu.

Dezaray’s goal is to continue performing while honing skills necessary to entertain internationally.
