MAKIN226 – Davide Del Vecchio “Elephants”

Rising from a late-night haze and a chance encounter with the animal kingdom, DJ/producer Davide Del Vecchio is set to release a deeply evocative new track titled “Elephants” on the forward-thinking label Makin’ Moves.

Crafted in a single night after an introspective spliff session on the sofa, “Elephants” is the result of an unexpected spiral into a documentary about the majestic creatures. What began as casual viewing turned into something far deeper. “At some point, I started tripping,” Davide recalls. “I found myself wondering—how does an elephant cry? What would that sound like in music?”

Instead of brushing off the moment, Davide followed the instinct, heading straight to the studio to capture the emotion. The result: a track that doesn’t just mimic nature…it feels it. With low-end rumbles, textured rhythms, and haunting melodic fragments, “Elephants” is a journey through the psyche of a creature often seen as powerful, yet deeply emotional.
This isn’t just a tune, it’s an audio sculpture. A story told without words.
A late-night vision turned into a track that hits just as hard on the dancefloor as it does in the soul.

“Elephants” drops via Makin’ Moves, known for their deep, emotive house and commitment to pushing boundaries. Expect this one to linger in your chest long after the last beat fades.

Produced and arranged by Davide Del Vecchio
Mixed and mastered by Clinton mcCreery
Executive producers : Jamesey Dun & Matt L-S
