Dutch producer Kid Sublime presents his first EP on Makin’ Moves, here he teams up with Philly singer/song writer Lady Alma exploring elements of soul, broken beat and house.

The EP kicks off with The Grind a super smooth soulful house track, that catches your attention straight away with its groovy baseline that remains throughout adding to that Alma’s meaningful lyrics demonstrating the power of the music as she uses it as to get herself through the day.

The positivity continues on ‘Can You Feel It’ another quality piece of soulful house as the action moves to the dance floor as the beat and grove winds you in as once again Alma’s lyrics drop perfectly on the track.

The B side shows Kid switch it up on the broken beat production wiith ‘Ready To Meet You’ a touching song about two individuals excited to meet each other for the first time, a sure shot hit for the ‘bruk’ beat and dance heads alike!

Available exclusively via our Bandcamp page from Friday 21st August.

Notting Hill Carnival celebrates its 60th year anniversary this year, a huge landmark for this iconic London festival. In that time it has become one of the integral parts of UK culture so we thought we need to be a part of it this year! We’ve had a great relationship with the Notting Hill Arts Club through the years as our favourite spot in West London and some of you might even remember our road block party back there in 2022! We head back there for a bank holiday after party on Monday 31st as we plan to bring the carnival to a crescendo.

Residents Matt and Jamesey London’s deep house pace setters will be in the house playing their unique brand of deep and soulful house. Also, joining us will be DJ Dubois who has been a long term regular at our events and has recently been making a big noise in the scene with regular spots at Deep Into Soul and Giles Smith & Friends. Her sound fuses elements of afro, deep and soulful house and can’t wait to welcome her! We also welcome Tre Hunter someone who we’ve wanted to book for sometime but is often travelling the world, expect a variety of house music sounds across the dance music diaspora.

Limited £8 tickets are available via RA and Dice.

UK vocalist Anna-Marie Johnson makes her debut on Makin’ Moves, joining producer Mark Francis for the uplifting new single “Shivers”—a soulful house anthem set to soundtrack the summer.

Blending infectious grooves with heartfelt songwriting, Shivers is an empowering record about
reconnecting with yourself, embracing healing energy, and completely letting go.

Mark Francis once again demonstrates his ability to craft timeless records. Having collaborated with an impressive roster of outstanding vocalists throughout his career, he delivers another impeccably produced release, pairing slick, driving rhythms with elegant piano arrangements that provide the perfect backdrop for Anna-Marie Johnson’s rich, emotive vocal performance to take centre stage.

Shivers is poised to become an essential addition to summer playlists and dancefloors alike and is available now from all good digital stores from Friday 7th August 2026.
